After graduating from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in
1978, Mark passed the Wisconsin bar exam and was admitted to practice
law in Wisconsin in the same year.
As an attorney for more than 33 years, Mark, age 58, began
his general practice firm as a solo practitioner in 1994 as The Law
Offices of Mark S. Knutson, S.C.
Mark has a general legal practice with particular emphasis in family
law, personal injury, wills and estate planning, and civil litigation. During his legal career he has also practiced in a wide variety of other
areas. He has years of experience in personal injury defense (representing
insurance companies), contracts, criminal, employment and municipal
matters. He is a former Dodge County Assistant Family Court Commissioner
and former Municipal Attorney who advised elected officials and prosecuted
civil forfeiture actions. Mark is also a founding member (former) of
the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
